- Work closely with developers on delivering project features.
- Help with tooling development and testing to ensure any feature meet the highest quality levels with each product release
- Help maintain development pipelines, libraries, and software infrastructures
- Writing technical and business use-case documentation
- Team lunches and social events
- Participate in volunteer and team building
- Receive formal performance assessments
- Provide end of term presentations to peers and Mastercard leadership
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Computer Science
- Previous co-op experience in Agile environment
- Knowledge of network concepts, algorithms, data structures, OOP (Object Oriented Programming) and design patterns
- Knowledge of microservices and API concepts
- Proficient in one or more programming languages: Java, python or JavaScript
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with AWS or any other cloud services are an asset
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and quickly ramp-up to learn new technologies (self-learner)
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
